Dermatology is the study of Skin and its diseases The Dermatologists are the Doctors who treat the Skin diseases.

Staff in the Department

1) Dr. Shailaja N. Sase, Dermatologist
2) One Staff Nurse
Three are clinics everyday in the Morning (10.30am – 1pm) and Afternoon (4pm – 5pm) throughout the week (Monday – Saturday) Patients attend OPD from neighbouring villages and are also referred by Local Doctors.

Diagnosis and Treatment

The Dermatologist is able to diagnose and treat a wide range of Skin disease with various modalities like creams, ontiments, tablets, and injections. We are equipped with an excellent dispensary. Other facilities available are Electrocautery and Phototherapy. Also procedures like biopsy, needling and chemical Cautery done .
We have good facility for in patients. Good nursing care is available for patients with Bullous Disorders & Steven Johnson’s Syndrome.
Skin is the largest organ of the body. We need it take care of it by cleansing it & Protecting it from Sun.
